All though we all expected it to be live right away, we had to wait a bit. Now you can compete against other players to earn the top stop of the leaderboards. Currently, only the top 100 collectors are showcased but Illuvium says that may be extended in future versions.</p><p>But that's not all, each week Illuvium will take a snapshot of the leaderboard and award the top 100 collectors with ILV tokens starting April 7th at 24:00 UTC. Illuvium also announced that they are planning to add additional rewards for collectors who make it onto the leaderboards in future game versions. So you have a chance to earn additional rewards in the future.</p><p>We believe this will motivate many players and spark more D1sk openings, higher prices for rare Illuvitars and accessories and a lot more bonding.</p><h3>Reward Table</h3><p><Image src="https://storage.googleapis.com/illuvihub-c82a4.appspot.com/Image/Illuvium_Beyond_Illuvitars_Leaderboard_Reward_table_400b16b27c/Illuvium_Beyond_Illuvitars_Leaderboard_Reward_table_400b16b27c.webp" alt="Illuvium Beyond Illuvitars Leaderboard Reward table" width="auto" height="auto" /></p><p>New collections</p><p>Apart from Leaderboards and Rewards Illuvium also announced new Collections. We now also have the Lynx Collections and Composite Class/Affinity Collections.</p><h2>Upcoming features</h2><p>Apart from features that are already live with this update we also got a taste of some upcoming features that are promised to come with the next V1.2 update.</p><h3>Public Collections</h3><p>If you ever wanted to know what kind of album the top collectors have, you should be able to with the next update as Illuvium has announced that they will be adding a new feature to Illuvium: Beyond that allows you to browse other collectors' collections and share your own. This feature should enable you to connect with other collectors and see what they've been able to add to their collections.</p><h3>Collection Emotes, Collection Skins and Collection Battleboards&nbsp;</h3><p>Illuvium says that you will soon be able to show off your collection in the Arena as completing specific collections will now unlock unique emotes you can use to express yourself and interact with other players. Also, by completing some other specific collections, you'll have access to unique skins that you can use to customize your character in the Overworld, Zero, and Arena. And on top of emotes and skins, you will also be able to use collection-based battle boards with completing some other specific collections.</p><h3>Launch Party Music Player</h3><p>Not sure a lot of players were asking for this feature but with the next update you should be able to listen to music from the talented sound team at Illuvium.</p><h2>Recap and Promo collections teaser</h2><p>All in all, it's nice to see they are improving Illuvium: Beyond and bringing out new features. As Kieran said in his last <i>The Escape Pod: Episode 6</i> with guest Dan Lambert, we should have at least 3 Promo collections in Wave 1, so we guess Promo collections are also coming soon so watch out for that. Illuvium just launched Version 1.1 of the Illuvium: Beyond that brings players the the highly anticipated Leaderboards, where players can compete to be among the top 100 collectors and earn bonus ILV tokens every week. New Illuvium: Beyond V1.1 Update is now Live

<p>As an enthusiastic community member, I am thrilled to share some highlights from Illuvium's recent Dev Blog, which showcases the fantastic progress the team has made so far in 2023. From launching the successful Illuvium: Zero Alpha to the numerous product releases planned, it's clear that this year is poised to be an exciting one for Illuvium.</p><h2><strong>Illuvium: Zero</strong></h2><p>January saw the launch of Illuvium: Zero's Public Alpha, followed by two critical fixes (v0.1.1 and v0.1.2) that ensured a smooth gaming experience for players. The addition of Julien as the lead for Illuvium: Zero brought more creativity and experience to the team.</p><h2><strong>Illuvium: Overworld</strong></h2><p>The team has been actively addressing community feedback from the first Beta and working on new mechanics to enhance the game world. The next Beta should feature two more regions, backend integration, player stats code, and more, which are sure to excite fans of the game.</p><h2><strong>Illuvium: Arena</strong></h2><p>Illuvium: Arena has seen significant progress, with the team working on polishing the game, implementing PVP, and integrating the final Illuvials. The next Beta will bring a better gaming experience, including multiple game modes, improved online functionality, and quality-of-life improvements.</p><h2><strong>Illuvium Website</strong></h2><p>The website continues to receive updates and improvements, with more extensive enhancements in the works that promise to add even more sizzle.</p><h2><strong>IlluviDex</strong></h2><p>The IlluviDex, which is set to be the heart of Illuvium's multi-game universe, is being developed to function seamlessly in the medium to long term. This is a monumental task, but the team is making great strides in achieving it.</p><h2><strong>Illuvitars</strong></h2><p>The Illuvitars project is nearing completion, with frontend and backend development almost done. However, a name change for the product is being considered, while the items will still be called Illuvitars.</p><h2><strong>Play/Account</strong></h2><p>The Play and Account products will soon be split, as the Account App is becoming its own entity. Both products have seen minor work this month, with more extensive scoping done for the final look of the Account app.</p><h2><strong>Staking</strong></h2><p>An important update to staking this month is the addition of a "Released Token Supply" component in the Staking App, which helps better represent the project's health.</p><h2><strong>Merchandise Store</strong></h2><p>The Merch Store is nearing completion, with some really cool products in store for physical collectors. The project has been handed over to the internal team, and they are working on finalizing the details before launch.</p><h2><strong>Launch Cinematic</strong></h2><p>The Launch Cinematic is still a surprise, but the team is taking its time to ensure it is the best it can be.</p><h2><strong>Summary</strong></h2><p>With an array of exciting developments and product releases in the pipeline, 2023 is set to be a monumental year for Illuvium. The team's dedication to delivering top-notch features and products will undoubtedly make Illuvium a dominant player in the Web3 space.
