A Bright Year Ahead: Illuvium's Exciting Developments in January 2023

As an enthusiastic community member, I am thrilled to share some highlights from Illuvium's recent Dev Blog, which showcases the fantastic progress the team has made so far in 2023. From launching the successful Illuvium: Zero Alpha to the numerous product releases planned, it's clear that this year is poised to be an exciting one for Illuvium.

Illuvium: Zero

January saw the launch of Illuvium: Zero's Public Alpha, followed by two critical fixes (v0.1.1 and v0.1.2) that ensured a smooth gaming experience for players. The addition of Julien as the lead for Illuvium: Zero brought more creativity and experience to the team.

Illuvium: Overworld

The team has been actively addressing community feedback from the first Beta and working on new mechanics to enhance the game world. The next Beta should feature two more regions, backend integration, player stats code, and more, which are sure to excite fans of the game.

Illuvium: Arena

Illuvium: Arena has seen significant progress, with the team working on polishing the game, implementing PVP, and integrating the final Illuvials. The next Beta will bring a better gaming experience, including multiple game modes, improved online functionality, and quality-of-life improvements.

Illuvium Website

The website continues to receive updates and improvements, with more extensive enhancements in the works that promise to add even more sizzle.

IlluviDex

The IlluviDex, which is set to be the heart of Illuvium's multi-game universe, is being developed to function seamlessly in the medium to long term. This is a monumental task, but the team is making great strides in achieving it.

Illuvitars

The Illuvitars project is nearing completion, with frontend and backend development almost done. However, a name change for the product is being considered, while the items will still be called Illuvitars.

Play/Account

The Play and Account products will soon be split, as the Account App is becoming its own entity. Both products have seen minor work this month, with more extensive scoping done for the final look of the Account app.

Staking

An important update to staking this month is the addition of a "Released Token Supply" component in the Staking App, which helps better represent the project's health.

Merchandise Store

The Merch Store is nearing completion, with some really cool products in store for physical collectors. The project has been handed over to the internal team, and they are working on finalizing the details before launch.

Launch Cinematic

The Launch Cinematic is still a surprise, but the team is taking its time to ensure it is the best it can be.
